Playing with the Triangular Prism by Lensbaby/Omni Filter can be fun and/or challenging. When you’re lucky, you can get a reflection, like in today’s photo of a rose; other times you might just get a blob of blue, or some other solid color. For me, part of the fun of photography is exploring and trying new things; that’s not to say I don’t get frustrated…especially when the wind picks up just as I was close to getting the subject in focus. Part of me wishes I would have blocked the sun from partially shining on the rose, but then I’m not sure if I would have gotten the reflection in the upper left hand corner.

Why don’t you bring some flowers inside? If you use lights you can get daylight balance but window light would probably be better.
