Still wasn’t feeling all that great this morning…until I went outside to play ball with my dog; then I saw that one of the monstrose cactus flowers had bloomed overnight. I had to act fast because they start closing up and dying before noon. I went into the house and got my camera, took a shot and wasn’t crazy about all the distractions around the flower. Yes, I could have grabbed another lens that would get me closer, but I wanted to try the Omni filters instead. I had the Rainbow Film on the left side of the lens and the Crystal Seahorse on the right. I played around with their positions as I took photos from different angles. I love the blue otherworldly look the surrounding cactus plants took on.
