This week is all nature, up close and personal, taken with my Fuji XT-3 and Rokinon 100mm macro lens. I’ve been working on greeting card research for 2 upcoming cards I need to make, and storing my research in DEVONthink…what a great program! That is what took up the majority of each day, along with downloading assets from Creative Fabrica. With that said, on with my week…
Sunday
Walked just under 2 miles, 1.98 to be exact, at Moorpark College then did a Costco run before going to fill up my water bottles and picking up some lunch. Today’s photo is of a rose processed with Pixelmator Photo on my iPad Pro.
Monday
Picked up some Ma Po Tofu after doing my weekly cleaning. Today’s photo is of a day lily’s stamen processed with Pixelmator Photo on my iPad Pro
Tuesday
Was on the computer most of the day. Today’s photo is of some sort of green bush, have no idea what it is but it stands nearly 5 feet tall, processed with Pixelmator Photo on my iPad Pro.
Wednesday
Another day of laying low and working on the computer. Today’s photo is of a day lily’s petals processed with Pixelmator Photo on my iPad Pro.
Thursday
Got to meet up with my dad as I had some items I bought for him, and he had some items to give me. We tried a new Thai restaurant then went to eat our meals at a picnic table. Today’s photo is of a fern, and the only photo this week taken with the iPhone 11 Pro and the native camera app. It was processed with Pixelmator Photo on my iPad Pro.
Friday
Got some things done around the house and laid low listening to Marooned at MacBites HQ in the morning and watching MacBites After Hours in the afternoon. Today’s photo is of an amaryllis (belladonna) processed with Pixelmator Photo on my iPad Pro.
Saturday (today)
Too doggone hot to do anything today. Stayed indoors and tried to stay cool while working on another greeting card template. Today’s photo is of a rose processed with Pixelmator Photo on my iPad Pro.
Well…that’s all for this week. Thank you very much for visiting. Stay safe and healthy.
Good stuff! I can’t believe you have fiddlehead ferns this late in the season. ⌛

Really, Mike? I’ve seen them pretty much all year round…didn’t know they had a season.

Here they curl up in the spring and then open for the rest of the season.

Wow! I won’t take them for granted anymore…guess I got spoiled out here (in Southern California).

They make a little Oh Yeah sound as they open too plus you can eat them! https://www.thespruceeats.com/all-about-fiddlehead-ferns-2217471

Are you pulling my leg on the “Oh Yeah” sound? LOL As for eating them, I just came across a recipe the other day that showed them in the ingredient list…not sure I’d eat them (even being a vegetarian).
