Week 15 of 365 Project 2020

I don’t like cooking so its been hard cutting back going out for lunch every day; the plus side is that I cut the portion in half (so I have leftovers for the next day) and I’ve lost some weight. My body is not happy that I didn’t take any walks this past week, but I have been doing yard work – 30 minutes up to 1 hour at least 2x a week. I’m seeing lots of ladybugs in the backyard and some other weird looking ones. I managed to take photos 6 out of 7 days this week; the one day I didn’t take photos was because it rained all day long. Right now there are about 8 fortnight lilies open, so those might be photos for next week. Enough chit-chat…let’s get on with this past week.

Sunday was spent around the house, cleaning and starting work on an eCard for (one of) my cousin’s upcoming birthday. Ended up scrambling for something to take photos of. These cactus flowers feed lots of ants, hummingbirds, and bees. Photo processed in on1 Photo Raw 2020.1.

Fuel Pumps

On Monday I stayed home, except to go get my weekly dose of Ma Po Tofu, and started to work on an eCard for (one of) my cousin’s upcoming birthday. I was using Keynote as I wanted an animated card, I spent the whole day adding elements to the first slide then duplicating the slide for the second. The day ended and I wasn’t feeling love for what I had done, not only that but I hadn’t taken any photos or post processed any past photos. I grabbed my iPad Pro and used the PhotoBooth app for today’s image. Photo was processed in Distressed FX (iOS app).

Slip Sliding Away

Tuesday I got to Costco a little earlier than my 10:30 appointment for the tire installation. After checking in, I went inside to pick up a few things and to see if they’ve gotten in any of the items I was needing (they hadn’t). I decided to walk around the outside of the building until the car was ready. I then made a quick stop in Home Depot to see if they had what I needed, they didn’t, but I came across this beautiful display of Asiatic Lilies that I just had to take a photo of. Call of the Wild

On Wednesday I went outside to take some photos of the wet grass (before I started my day). Found this bug taking a break on a blade of grass. I also finished my cousin’s eCard, a static version that I could text to her. Today’s photo was processed in on1 Photo Raw 2020.1.

My Way or the Highway

Thursday we had rain all day long! Decided to post process some photos (in on1 Photo Raw 2020.1) that I had taken at my last walk around Moorpark College a couple of weeks ago. I texted my cousin her eCard and we had a nice (text) chat.

Growth Spurt

Friday I took the RV for a short drive and made a couple of stops – was in need of Vitamin Water Zero for my partner and dog food and treats for the Boy – I also needed to move it so the neighbors wouldn’t start complaining. While outside, pulling weeds, we got a cloudburst…ran into the garage to wait it out. When it was finished I went back outside with my camera to get some photos. Natural Bridge

Today, Saturday, I went to fill up my water bottles, picked up some fried chicken for my partner, and some Thai food. Came back home and did some chores, took some photos of a dandelion seed head, and some post processing. Photo processed (and frame added) in on1 Photo Raw 2020.1.

Shock the Monkey

Well…that’s all for this week. Thank you very much for visiting. Stay safe and healthy.
