I was hoping to get this post done earlier today as Photo Formation by JixiPix is available for free today in the app store! I’ve used it a couple of times in my posts (when I didn’t find the link)…now there is a link. What does it do?
Photo Formation is a photo effect that auto-transforms images into super creative paper formations while a 3D light engine casts ultra cool shadows with loads of dimension. Use it to fragment, join, weave, rip and fold photos into fascinating eye-catching pieces, with all the subtle creases, curls and bends as if painstakingly assembled by hand.

As for today’s photo, I was back outside with my Fuji X-T3 and Lensbaby Velvet 56 with both 10mm and 16mm extension tubes attached. I was in search of “wet greens” with the sun shining on the water drops. I wasn’t disappointed! Came across some wet, “baby” weeds in among some new blades of grass. I just love the cool effects I get with the Velvet 56 when I’m at a certain distance from my subject – none of the objects in the highlights was added in post, they are there in the RAW and JPG files.
