I got my new iPhone yesterday, and shortly after leaving the Apple store at the Oaks Mall I was taking photos with it. Since I wanted a fresh start (compared to just restoring from a backup), I only had the “stock” camera app to use. It was the perfect time of the day when I came across the steps you can take downstairs to the food court. After making a quick pit stop downstairs, I headed back up the stairs to take photos of the shadows.
Once I got home I immediately downloaded my favorite camera apps I’ve purchased; in the meantime I used the MirrorCam FX app on my iPad Pro to create yesterdays photo for this post. In not thinking through my decision to start with a fresh phone, and forgetting to backup the authy app (2-factor authentication), I didn’t post yesterday. I forgot I was still logged in on the computer and could have posted…but my mind was focused on getting my phone set up.

Mike, I wanted the Pro because of the 3 lenses (didn’t get the Pro Max because of the size). I’m really liking it, though I didn’t get to take any photos today. Compared to my iPhone SE (which I traded in) this is a sleek work of art…a Porsche to my old “Edsel”. I love my Fuji XT-3, but sometimes it is cumbersome to carry (I use a paracord wrist strap only) when I’m out walking around. I wanted something I could slip into my pocket and have with me – in case I decide to capture any candid moments.

Forgot to mention the Ultra Wide lens, 13mm equivalent, even caught my feet! I kept trying to move them out of the way when taking more shadow photos on the stairs. I thought I was successful. Guess I’ll have to use a different angle to keep feet free. LOL
