Yesterday was a very emotional day for me, thank goodness I had family around for their love and support. It certainly wasn’t the birthday celebration I wanted for my sister and I, but s*!t happens. Since my eyes were so bleary/blurry from all the crying, I didn’t take time to do a post. So this is for Sunday…Day 237.
When I went outside to play ball with my boy (dog) I saw the sun hitting part of the flower that bloomed the night before and was lighting it up, luckily I had taken my camera outside with me, so I didn’t have too far to go to grab it. By the time I got this shot, the sun was hitting the flower in the lower left with some lighting happening above there. After taking some photos, I checked to see how the other bud was doing; I noticed it looked like it was going to open up that evening (it did!).

No cake, but my dad made these delicious torts (spelling ?) with banana pudding filling. Thanks for your comment, Mike.
