Headed back to Thousand Oaks, but this time, I went back to the Gardens of the World to see if the artichokes had started blooming…they had. While they were nice to see, they didn’t make my heart sing like in the past; what got me this trip was the Betty Boop roses, Peruvian Lilies, and the Columbines. I was going crazy shooting (experimenting) with the Lensbaby; I felt like one of the many bees or butterflies flying around the beautiful flowers.
