Today I was back to playing with the Sigma 50mm macro lens, but this time I used only the 12mm extension tube. I’m enjoying doing a “photo study” of my tulips – so far there are 3 purple ones that have fully developed, with others in various stages of growth.
I also pulled out (meaning finally found where I hid put) my 30″ x 30″ light cube/tent/box whatever you call it to block the sun. It was pretty windy when I was out taking the photos, and the planter with the tulips is way too heavy to put inside, so I was using it in a modified way. Too bad I didn’t have someone videoing my efforts as I was getting frustrated, but it was still quite funny all the same. As they say, “necessity is the mother of invention”.
