Yesterday, while running errands and taking Flat Stanley to some cool locations, we went into Trader Joe’s where I bought 2 bunches of flowers. One was a mixed bouquet and the other was only ranunculus’. I didn’t get a chance to take any photos of them yesterday, so I made some time today. I took some “regular” flower photos, and some of my favorite dreamy, multiple exposure photos. Today’s photo is one of the dreamy photos
If I get up early enough tomorrow I’ll take Flat Stanley back to Corriganville to get closer to the poppies…and take some more photos with my Fuji X-T3.

The oranges and greens are lovely but I prefer the black and white one this time. It’s like the color one is talking about flowers and the black and white one is talking about the world. Interesting to me how can create different conversations within photos.

For me, the color version gives the dreamy look I was going after…the b&w version loses that look. I think this is one of the few times when no color doesn’t convey a feeling (at least to me). Thank you for the comment. 🙂
