I discovered something today; all along I thought that when I was changing the aperture of my vintage lens(es) within the adapter/extension tube it was changing, today I found that isn’t true. I had set the aperture ring to f/22, but when I took the lens out of the adapter and looked through the lens it was wide open at f/2.8. After watching the blades close down to f/11 I attached it to the extension tube, then the adapter and back onto my camera.
I was going to head out into the back yard to take some photos only to discover the rain had started again. So out to the front porch I went with camera in hand. There was a big difference in the depth of field, but with the low light the ISO was at 3200. I like the water drop being “pinched” by 2 thorns.
