Here’s a sneak peak at my new baby. I am so in love with the retro design with dials for ISO, Shutter Speed and Exposure Compensation…feels like I have a digital version of my old Nikon FM. While my mom and step-dad were still sleeping, I went out into the backyard to play and had lots of fun. I’m glad I got some extension tubes to use with the kit lens, and any other prime lenses I might get in the future. I also got a Nikon to Fuji adapter and I’m looking forward to trying the Sigma 50mm macro lens on the X-T3.
This camera is my “dream camera” as so many of the functions I use are dials or buttons (I don’t have to go digging through menus to turn on multiple exposure…a big yay!!) and having focus peaking for shooting manual is a big help because as I’ve gotten older my eyes can’t see as well with my Olympus OM-D EM-5 to nail focus with the manual 50mm macro lens I’ve been using for the majority of the the previous photos.
